Sunny and bright, the applique Rooster Rise pattern on this quilted cotton throw is inspired by a French earthenware tureen dated between 1725 and 1730. A harlequin border frames the sides of the rooster strutting at the center, while a rising sun, along with moons and stars, adorns the top. Flowers run along the bottom of the rooster, finishing the darling design.
