Picture perfect. This fine tapestry is from a medieval type, with a so-called Thousand Flower background. It pictures medieval ladies engaged in embroidering.

The women are surrounded by flowers and birds on a navy ground. The lining is in navy cotton. A rod pocket makes for easy wall hanging.

The original Embroidery tapestry is part of a set of seven, each representing the favorite pastimes of noblemen and noblewomen around 1500. The originals are on display in The Cluny Museum in Paris. Measures approximately 18-1/2"W x 26"L.

98% cotton/2% polyamide. Lining 100% cotton. Dry clean only.

Made in Belgium.
